Rita Cox Horton, 68, a native of Sheridan, Ark., and a resident of Fairhope, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Franklin Horton.
Survivors include a son, John (Teresa) Horton of Foley; grandchildren, Heather and Matthew Horton of Foley; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Thompson of Foley; three brothers, Carl Cox, of Sheridan, Ore., Gary (Linda) Cox of Oakdale, Calif., and Allen Cox, of Palm Springs, Calif.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope with funeral services at 6 p.m. from the funeral home chapel.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
