Rita Marie Apice, 72, a native of Newark, N.J., and resident of Summerdale, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Reed, father William Reed, and son George Filler.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony Apice Sr.; sister, Anita Wadiak; five daughters, Rita Filler, Maureen Parnell, Kathleen Cramer, Deborah Staplekamp and Cheryl Correia; two sons, Michael Filler and Anthony Apice Jr.; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 31 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Robertsdale.
Arrangements are by Pine Rest Funeral Home Inc., Foley.
