Robert A. Callaway Sr., age 73, passed away January 9, 2016 at Fairhope, Ala.
Robert was born and lived in Orange Beach, Ala. until he moved to Robertsdale, where he lived the remainder of his life between Robertsdale and the Styx River area.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Edna Callaway; and father, Daniel Oscar Callaway Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Callaway; two daughters, Karen Renee Callaway of Robertsdale, Ala. and Ashley Anne Callaway of Baton Rouge, La.; one son, Robert A. Callaway Jr. of Robertsdale, Ala.; three grandchildren, Skylar Callaway, Meghan Callaway and Daniel Callaway; one sister, Beverly Callaway of Orange Beach, Ala.; and the mother of his children, Joyce Callaway. He also leaves behind his beloved little dog, Cookie.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Jan. 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Styx River Baptist Church, with Rev. Randy Sirmon officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to The Haven or to Styx River Baptist Church.
