Robert “Bob” Gray Guy Jr., 59, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center.
He was a longtime employee of Gulf Transportation and Ryder Trucking, and was currently employed as a forklift mechanic at Standard Furniture.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Parker Guy of Bay Minette; one son, Mathew Gray Guy III of Louisiana; his mother, Bertha Mae Guy; two brothers, John (Carol) Guy of Bay Minette and Wayne Guy of Monroeville; three sisters, Bertha Guy Crossley of White House Fork, Mary Huval Gee of Bay Minette and Dorothy Odum of Bay Minette; two stepsons, Bobby Dunn and Jade Dunn; and three step-grandchildren, Michael Dunn, Coleman Dunn and Rian Dunn.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, April Odessa Guy; a sister, Alice W. Sprinkle; and his father, Robert G. Guy Sr.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2013, from 6 until 7 p.m., at Green Acres Baptist Church, with the Rev. Houston Gill and Stevie Benton officiating.
