Robert E. Beebout Jr., a native of Atlanta and a resident of Bon Secour, died on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010.
He worked as a shrimp boat captain for 25 years. He was a member of New Life In Christ Church, Foley, were he was one of the cooks for the Wednesday night supper.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Beebout; son Robert Beebout; and his parents.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony Beebout of Bon Secour and Kevin Beebout of Foley; step-son, Wayne Wolfe of Bon Secour; three sisters, Mary Britt, Vickey Morgan and Juanita Bayer, all of Bon Secour; four grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 9 at New Life In Christ Church in Foley. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10 at the church. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
The family requests memorial donations be made to New Life In Christ Church, Foley.
