Robert Earl Huber, 80, born in Hamilton, Ohio and a resident of Daphne, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014.

He was a Vietnam and Korean War veteran. Mr. Huber retired from the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Postal Service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, DeLaine Huber.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah (William) Moffett and Kimberly (Harry) McLemore, both of Fairhope; a brother, Herbert Huber of Fairfield, Ohio; a sister, Nancy Boicheff of Seminole, Fla.; three grandchildren, Morgan Moffett, Kelsey McLemore and Krista McLemore; two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Nicholas McLemore; and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Mr. Huber’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at 10 a.m., at Redeemer Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends following the service.

Inurnment will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 200 Section St., Fairhope, AL 36532, Disaster Victim Services, 103 Appomatox Dr., Daphne, AL 36526, or V.F.W. Post 5660, Fairhope.
