Robert Jerome “Bob” Taylor, 72, a resident of Daphne, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at a local healthcare facility.
He worked as a self-employed contractor and was a member of Eastern Shore Baptist Church.
Survivors include five children and step-children, Robert J. (Andrea) Taylor Jr. of Daphne, David R. Taylor of Silverhill, Kimberly (Steve) McLain of Daphne, W. Douglas (Samantha) Houston III of Daphne and Michael Moore of Delaware; a loving companion, Ann B. Moore; five sisters, Jeanette (Claude) Puckett of Fairhope, Faye (Tim) O’Connor of Daphne, Jane McWilliams of Jackson, Miss., Linda (Ed) Witherington of Daphne and Wanda Entrekin of Panama City, Fla.; four brothers, Richard D. (Martha Jo) Taylor of Daphne, James E. (Patricia) Taylor of Florida, Gene (Barbara) Taylor and Larry Taylor, both of Daphne; two grandchildren, Adam Taylor, of Foley and Taylor McClain of Daphne; many other realtives and friends.
Visitation beghins at 11 a.m. with a memorial service at noon Monday, Jan. 10 at the Eastern Shore Baptist Church.
