Robert Jessie Farley, a native of Red Jacket, W.Va., and a resident of Stapleton, diedMonday, March 21, 2011 in Stapleton.
He attended Cornerstone Church and was employed by Taylor-Wharton Cryogenics in Theodore.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Della Farley; two brothers, Ronald and Roy; in-laws, Byron and Luvern Arrington and a grandson, Aaron Cobb.
Survivors include his wife, Betty A. Farley of Stapleton; two children, Tonya (Spencer) Wynn of Bay Minette and James Hadley of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Joyce Fleming and Wanda Frey, both of Columbus, Ohio; three brothers, David Farley, Paul Farley and Donald Farley, all of Columbus; best friend, Howard Hilburn; loving niece, Susan (Dale) Ouzts; five grandchildren, many more nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the Taylor Wharton employees for all their thoughtfulness and Springhill Hospice for all their care and compassion, especially Haley Stuart, Leah Vines and nurse aid Aneta.
Visitation begins at 1:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26 at Cornerstone Church in Stapleton with Brother Eugene Hartley and Dale Ouzts officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Corner Stone Church, 35200 Highway 59, Stapleton, AL 36578.
