Robert Mark Chafin Jr., 73, a native and resident of Rabun, died Friday March 23, 2012 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
Mr. Chafin was a tankerman and a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam.
He is survived by two sons Robert Mark Chafin Milele III, Mt Juliet, Tenn., and Scott Chafin Milele, Lebanon, Tenn.; one brother, Thomas E. Chafin, Rabun; three sisters, Faye C. Lassiter, Judy Ann Dyess and Oudia Moss Freeman, all of Millry.
Funeral services were March 27 at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. David Dyess officiating. Burial was at Barlow Cemetery in the Barlow Community near Millry.
