Robert Samuel “Sam” Davis Sr., 82, a native of Conecuh County resident of Robertsdale, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014.
Mr. Davis is survived by wife, Jane Davis of Robertsdale; three sons, Robert “Sam” (Janice) Davis of Elberta, Tommy Lee (Rose) Davis of Loxley and Randall Wayne (Susan) Davis of Robertsdale; three sisters, Mae (Frank) Prochaska of Troy, Adele Fowler of Atmore and Merle Gray of Columbus, Ga.; three brothers, Dale H. (Shirley) Davis of Pike County, Aubrey L. (Grace) Davis of Summerdale and Gary (Pat) Davis of North Carolina; and five grandchildren, Evan Davis, Wayne Davis, Clint Davis, Brian Davis and Eli Davis.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Loxley First Baptist Church, with burial at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort.
A visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.
