Lorene Venable Roberts, 86, a native of Hollywood, Ala., and a resident of Stapleton, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Millard Roberts; one brother and three sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Donald R. (Diane) Roberts and Charles Dennis (Jeanette) Roberts, both of Stapleton; daughter, Wanda R. Willoughby of Okeechobee, Fla.; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday July 10 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. J.P. Lambert and the Rev. Alan Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
