ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — Robertsdale Elementary has selected Nick Hemmert as the 2011-2012 Teacher of the Year. Hemmert is a fourth grade EMINTS teacher at Robertsdale Elementary. He graduated from the University of South Alabama with a master’s degree. He is currently in his seventh year at Robertsdale. He serves as department chair and is also a member of the Continuous Improvement Planning Team. Hemmert has extensive knowledge in the area of Aspberger’s and is a member of the school’s crisis team. Hemmert has
