ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — Robertsdale Elementary School kindergarten classes celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday this week by dressing up as the legendary American hero.
Students brought a variety of apples from home, and then had fun participating in a tasting contest to vote for their favorite. They also made delicious homemade applesauce and enjoyed apple juice with real apple straws.
