FOLEY, Alabama — The Robertsdale Lady Golden Bears picked up a 59-40 6A Area 3 win over Foley on Tuesday.

Three Robertsdale players reached double figures, with Madeleine Petitte scoring 17, Drea Curry scoring 14 and Austin Richardson adding 13 points in the win.

"They played with a lot of energy," Robertsdale head coach Scott Harville said. "Defensively we played really well. I thought we shared the ball a lot better than we have been. Our scoring was balanced, which is important for us."

Harville said his goal was to limit Foley's leading scorer Brittney Davis' touches, something he thought his team did well. Davis was held to 11 points.

"Every time (Davis) touched it we wanted to send two people to guard her," Harville said. "She is a great player and we wanted to limit her touches and her scoring. She's what makes (Foley) go."

The Bears play at Daphne and Foley plays at Baldwin County on Friday at 6 p.m.
