SUMMERDALE, Alabama — Robertsdale High School junior Travis Eubanks was recently chosen to represent Baldwin EMC as part of the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. Employees from the co-op surprised Eubanks with the good news at school on Friday, Jan. 13.
As one of four Youth Tour representatives from Baldwin EMC, Eubanks will participate in all expense paid trips to Montgomery in March and Washington, D.C., in June. The trips will provide an up close look at the inner workings of our state and national capitals, along with visits to historical sites and interactions with local and national legislators.
Eubanks will be joined on the Youth Tour by more than 1,000 other students from across the nation, along with fellow Baldwin EMC representatives Weesie Jeffords from Daphne High School, Olivia Melton from Gulf Shores High School and Kevin Travis from Spanish Fort High School.
Robertsdale High School teacher Shannon McCurdy will receive classroom supplies for serving as Eubanks’ faculty sponsor.
