Robertsdale man indicted for allegedly making terrorist threat

BAY MINETTE, Ala. — The Baldwin County grand jury has indicted a Robertsdale man who allegedly called Old Tyme Pottery on State Highway 59 on Oct. 3 and said he had a bomb.

Fred Hulin Nelson, 28, of Barnett Road, was indicted April 6 and charged with making a terrorist threat, according to court documents.

Nelson allegedly said, “This is a bomb threat. Evacuate the store. I have a bomb back here.”

Nelson was arrested the next day and released on a $5,000 bail, court records state. Arraignment will be May 18.
