BAY MINETTE, Ala. — A Robertsdale man who allegedly fled on foot into a wooded area Oct. 5 to elude a deputy’s traffic stop has been indicted on numerous drug charges.
Jeffery Patterson, 31, of Patterson Road is charged with possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to elude police, according to the indictment.
According to a warrant filed in Baldwin County District Court, Patterson was detained and notified he had several outstanding felony warrants.
Patterson ran into a wooded area and was later captured, court records state. He had methamphetamine, marijuana and a glass pipe in his possession.
He remains at Baldwin County Corrections Center with no bail amount.
