ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — Officials with the Robertsdale Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects in a string of thefts at Walmart on Highway 59.
RPD chief investigator Lt. Rex Bishop said four suspects show up on surveillance video captured during incidents that occurred in the early morning hours of April 2, April 14 and April 25.
“All four suspects are seen in footage from April 2,” Bishop said. “One suspect can be seen in all three incidents while two others appear in separate incidents on April 14 and April 25.”
In all three incidents, various cell phones were reported missing from the store.
On April 2, an IPhone 6s gold, valued at just under $800, along with an LG-G Stylo valued at $179, were reported missing. Suspects are recorded entering and leaving the store between 3:12 And 3:30 a.m., according to reports.
Surveillance video also shows suspects leaving the scene in a white, four-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala, Bishop said.
The same vehicle is captured on surveillance video from an incident reported April 25 in which the same type of IPhone was reported missing. Suspects can be seen entering and leaving the store between 3:50 and 4:10 a.m.
On April 14, Walmart reported a variety of cell phones missing, ranging in value from $90 to $140. Footage is captured of suspects entering and leaving the store between 12:58 and 1:24 a.m.
Surveillance video shows suspects leaving the scene in a dark-color blue, four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan model, Bishop said.
