ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — A vast collection of costumed characters lined the streets in Robertsdale Tuesday night for the Robertsdale Public Library’s annual Halloween Fun Night.

Robertsdale Library Director Cynthia Nall estimated over 700 children, about 1,300 to 1,400 residents total attended the event which has been held in Robertsdale the last few years.

“This is the type of activity I grew up with at Halloween and that’s what we wanted to recreate here,” Nall said.

Children 12 and under were invited to come in costume and enjoy games, hayrides, hot dogs and chips, and trunk or treating.
