Two sessions will be offered. The morning session begins at 9:30 a.m. with an evening session beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Workshop activities include:

— S.W.O.T. Analysis.

— Public Opinion Survey.

The S.W.O.T. analysis and public opinion survey will be available to the public Aug. 1-31 at City Hall.

The Comprehensive Plan is an advisory document that functions as the long-range plan for future growth and development of the city. It identifies the goals, objectives and strategies of the community, determined by its residents and property owners.

An effective comprehensive plan for future growth and development must reflect the needs and desires of the residents and property owners of the community.

The Community Visioning Workshop is an opportunity for the residents to express their desires for Robertsdale and create a vision for the future through open dialogue, public opinion surveys and a Visual Preference Survey.

The Visual Preference Survey is a technique that allows citizens to evaluate physical images in relation to the growth and development of their community and involes scoring photographs based on how well they like or dislike them for their community.
