ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Robertsdale Golden Bears closed the 2011 football season with a 20-19 win over Faith Academy of Mobile this past Friday evening.
Players of the Week, who are sponsored by the Robertsdale Rotary Club are James Mack for special teams, Sir Raven Curry, the defensive player of the week, and Keegan Ellis, the offensive player of the week.
Though the Golden Bears didn’t make the playoffs, the final games, which were wins against Baldwin County High and Faith, give the program something to build on for the 2012 season.
