ROBERTSDALE, Alabama --- Voters in Robertsdale will head to the polls Tuesday to decide the final race in the 2012 municipal elections in Central Baldwin County.
Polls will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with voting slated for Robertsdale City Hall only. All registered voters living within the city limits of Robertsdale are eligible to vote in Tuesday’s election.
Voters have a choice voting for Robertsdale City Council Place 3 between Aubrey Grant Jr., son of the incumbent, Aubrey Grant Sr., and Ruthie Campbell.
General elections were originally scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 28, but were postponed to Sept. 11 following the threat of Hurricane Isaac. By law runoff elections must be held six weeks after the general election, moving the runoff from Oct. 9 to Oct. 23.
Robertsdale, Silverhill and Loxley will swear in Council members at their regular meetings slated for Nov. 5. The Loxley Town Council’s meeting was originally set for Nov. 12, but was moved because of the Veterans Day observance.
