FOLEY, Ala. – Four Robertsdale Golden Bears scored in double figures in a 72-53 win over Foley in a Class 6A Area 3 game on Tuesday night.

Cordero Dade led all scorers with 16 points, while Kent Langham added 13 and Allen Ware and Calvin Dade had 11 points each in the win.

Robertsdale used a 10-0 run to pull away from the Lions in the third period. The Bears led 29-21 at the half and outscored the Lions 22-12 in the third to take a 51-33 lead.

“Coming off the Spanish Fort game, the kids came out and started kind of sluggish, not making baskets, not running the break well," Robertsdale coach Marshall Davis said. "It’s always tough playing on the road. We’ve got to get ready for Daphne now."

Ja’vontae Long and Malcolm Barnett scored 15 points each for Foley in the loss.

The Bears improved to 13-7 overall and 3-0 in Area 3 play. Foley fell to 3-12 and 0-3 in area play.

Both teams are back in action tonight at 6 p.m., with Foley visiting Fairhope and Robertsdale playing at Daphne.
