ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — David Orr, a Tuesday night graduate of Robertsdale High, signed a track scholarship with Berea College on Thursday in the RHS library.

Orr called Troy shortly before the signing to let them know he had changed his mind about becoming a Trojan. Saying he felt he was being led to go to the Kentucky school, Orr feels he will be able to compete from day one. With Orr, seated, at the signing, were, from left, RHS Athletic Director Scott Phelps, RHS Principal Theresa Bryant, and Greg Crager, the RHS track coach. Orr was commended for his work ethic, and willingness to do what was asked of him by his coaches. In addition to track, Orr also played football for four years.
