David Eugene Rockwell, 79, a native and longtime resident of Fairhope, died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and HelenBell Rockwell; son, Juan Rockwell; brothers, Oliver Rockwell and Lucier Rockwell.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian L. Rockwell of Fairhope; five daughters, Toni Rockwell of Austin, Texas, Wendy Rockwell of Monterverde, Costa Rica, Nidia Teague of Olive Branch, Miss., Andrea Rockwell of Pensacola, Fla., and Mandy Irwin of Fairhope; daughter-in-law, Teressa Bryant of Daphne; sister, Edna Harris of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Vance Rockwell of Pensacola, Fla., Mike Rockwell of Tallassee; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 at Friends (Quaker) Meeting House, 9261 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Friends (Quaker) Meeting House, P. O. Box 319, Fairhope, AL 36533.
