The 12th Annual Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation Professional Rodeo was a tremendous success thanks to the community, the sponsors, the contestants, and the City of Foley!

A special thanks to our title sponsor South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, our performance sponsor Gulf Chrysler Dodge Jeep, AND to the many other sponsors who made this event possible.

There are not enough words to thank the City of Foley for ALL that they did for the rodeo.  Thanks to Mayor John Koniar, fellow Foley City Council members, and the City of Foley Convention and Visitors Bureau for your continued support. The following city employees went “above and beyond” in making it a  success: Mark McKenzie, Gary Deisner, all Parks Department employees, Dan Hellmich, and all Street Department employees — to only list a few. Everyone that helped make this possible did so with a smile on their face and true enthusiasm for the cause. I am so proud to live in a city where officials and employees are truly dedicated to making a difference and take such pride in the community. Thank you for all that you do!

Also, the community support was overwhelming. Thanks to all of the volunteers that devoted their time to this event.  Thanks to the Foley Kiwanis, Optimist and Rotary Clubs for working the ticket gate. Thanks to the Foley Police Department Mounted Unit and Explorers, along with the Baldwin County Sheriff Posse for their help with parking.  Thanks to the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce for distributing information on the Rodeo. Thanks to Summerdale Western Store, Wachovia and Colonial Banks for selling tickets. Thanks to all of the contestants for participating in the event. And last but not least, thanks to all of you in the community for supporting this event — this year had the largest attendance ever!

The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation Professional Rodeo is held each year as the major fundraiser of the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation. All proceeds go towards this nonprofit, United Way Agency that makes a difference in the lives of children by supporting the Peer Helper programs in nine Baldwin County schools.  To learn more about the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation please visit www.jennifermoorefoundation.com.
