Rodney Neal Boyington, age 47, born in Metairie, Ala. and a resident of Bay Minette, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. He was a self employed truck driver.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Mosley of Bay Minette; three brothers, Michael Scott Boyington of Brazil, Gregory Boyington of Harvest, Ala., and Victor Boyington of Bay Minette; three sisters, Patricia Benesch of La., Penny Piazza of Texas and Judy Brown of Bay Minette; numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews an a very devoted friend, Carolyn Bush. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Boyington; a brother, Rocky Boyington and two sisters, Louise Boyington and Joanie Boyington Green. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Dr. Chip Starnes officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Oakwood North Baldwin Center for Living in Rodney’s memory. Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, 402 E. 2nd St., Bay Minette.
