Ronald Gary Keyser, age 83, a native of Cornwall, N.Y., and a resident of Fairhope, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at his residence.
He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and the order of Kappa Alpha Faternity. An avid golfer, he was a member of Storm King Golf Club for over 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Keyser of Fairhope; one daughter, Diane Granlund of San Ramon, Calif; two sons, Stephen (Becky) Keyser of Fresno, Calif and Robert (Cathy) Keyser, of Fairhope; one brother, Harry Keyser, Jr. of Warwick, R.I., 16 grandchildren, James Keyser, Michelle Keyser Haynam, David R. Keyser, Kevin Keyser, Wendy Hinkle, David M. Keyser, Jennifer Hanger, Thomas Keyser, Kristyn Claypool, Daniel Keyser, Brian Keyser, Michael Keyser, Amy Keyser, John Granlund, Kristin Granlund, Erica Granlund, and 12 great-grandchildren. Mr. Keyser is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Eleanor Keyser and a son, David Keyser. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at 3 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope from 3 p.m until 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Shepherd’s Place, Fairhope United Methodist Church or St. James Episcopal Church.
