Ronnie Clay Phillips, 48, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010.
He was born July 13, 1962 in Mobile, to Clayton and Barbara Phillips and had five brothers and sisters, Bruce Woodard, Wanda Woodard, Terry Miller, Tony Phillips, and Mark Phillips.
He was a member of Christian Life Church. He was employed by Ascend Performance Materials in Foley, where he worked for 20 years. He never met a stranger, loved sports (especially the Crimson Tide), and spending time with his four boys. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.
Suvivors include the mother of his children, Cathy Phillips; four children, Joethan Clay Phillips, Bernard Charles Nesbitt, Derek Tyler Phillips and Cody James Phillips; and Skip the dog.
The family would like to thank Christian Life Church, Pastor Rick Long, and all of the family and friends for your love and support.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18 at Christian Life Church, 25550 Canal Road, Orange Beach. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19 at the church with Pastor Rick Long officiating. Graveside services will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Ronnie C. Phillips Memorial Fund at Regions Bank.
