Roxie Walz Trimble, 79, born in Pelzer, S.C., and a resident of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011 at her residence. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Trimble of Bay Minette; her children, Janie (Greg) Watson of Crossroads, Carlton (Sandra) Todd, Michael (Julie) Walz and Keith (Brenda) Walz all of Bay Minette; one sister, Frances Brookie, of War Shoals, S.C.; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Tampary, Lisa Arnold, Derrick Todd, Joshua Walz, Cory Walz, Jeremy Todd, Joseph Walz and Shyann Everhart; and five greatgrandchildren, Collin Shepard, Garner Tampary, Skyler Arnold, Gunter Todd and Ava Grace Walz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Mary Spearman, and two brothers, B.F. Spearman and Jake Spearman.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, at 2 p.m., at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. Otis Thames, Rev. John Montalvo and Lenzy Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 26, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Todd, Jeremy Todd, Joshua Walz, Collin Shepard, Mark Dickman and Grant Everhart. Honorary pallbearer will be Ward Ammons.
