Roy Charles Menard, 76, a native of Massachusetts and resident of Fairhope, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011.
Mr. Menard was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He was an inspector and academy instructor for the FAA and Air Force flight engineer. He also worked in Quality Assurance for Fed-Ex.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy A. Menard of Fairhope; four daughters, Linda Mullin of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, Denise Wilby of Enfield, Conn., Paula Marxs of St. Lawrence, Pa. and Pamela Russo of Rock Hill, Conn.; two stepsons, Johnny Rieben of Jackson, Tenn. and Joseph Rieben of Eads, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; a brother, Norman Menard of East Hampton, Pa.; and a sister, Lucille O’Connor of Longmeadow, Mass.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at 10 a.m., at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Mass.
A private interment will be held at Agawam National Cemetery, Agawam, Mass.
