Royce Dale Duncan, age 57, a native and resident of Loxley, Ala., went to be with the Lord Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015.
Mr. Duncan was a member of the Silverhill Baptist Church, and was an example of love and kindness to everyone. He was a wonderful husband and father.
He enjoyed his truck driving, and was known by his fellow drivers as “WAR EAGLE.” He played at golf and liked to fish.
A highlight for Royce was taking the Robertsdale Seniors to the Masters Games and other excursions as well as cooking for them. He was also a favorite Robertsdale Santa.
Mr. Duncan was preceded in death by his father, SFC James H. Duncan; and is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sarah B. Duncan of Loxley, Ala.; two adoring daughters, Olivia “Liv” Campbell of Loxley, Ala., Verona Campbell of Columbus, Ga.; mother, Bessie Duncan of Loxley, Ala.; sister, Denita (Dea) Yates of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother, Ren (Jennifer) Duncan of Loxley, Ala.; grandchild, Jake Andrews of Auburn, Ala.; very special nephew, Bradley McInnis of Loxley, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services and burial will be held Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery, Loxley, Ala., with Rev. Judson Shores officiating.
A visitation will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. from Mack Funeral Home.
After the graveside, the family will receive friends at the Robertsdale PZK.
