Ruby L. Dale (Ms. Ruby), a native and lifelong resident of Fairhope, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy Dale and Sallie Coleman Carter; son, John Curtis Dale; sisters, Christine Martin and Corrine Allen; brothers, Marion Carter Jr., Marvin Carter and Calvin Carter.
She is survived and cherished by her two sons, Gregory A. Dale and Terrence (Tamara) Dale Sr. of Fairhope; four sisters, Delaney Let, Rachel Let, Betty (Harold) Waller from New Jersey and Bobby (Roosevelt) Burks from Georgia; one brother, Felton (Margaret) Carter; three sisters-in law from Georgia; eight grandchildren; two godchildren, Henry (Joyce) Hayseed from Mobile and Venetia (Larry) from Kansas; a host of other relatives (Katherine Washington from Ohio) and friends.
A private family viewing will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013, at 4 p.m., from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Good Samaritan Sanctuary in Fairhope on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at 11 a.m., with Minister Terrence Dale Sr. officiating. A viewing will precede the service at 10.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made at Regions Bank, Ruby L. Dale.
