Ruby Pearl Giles Deakle, 85, a native of Andalusia, a former resident of Robertsdale and a resident of Wilmer, left this life on Jan. 2, 2015 for a family reunion in heaven.
Mrs. Deakle was a member of Grace Point Church of God in Mobile.
She never had an ugly word to say about anyone. She truly loved her children.
Mrs. Deakle was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Deakle Sr.
She is survived by four daughters, Shelia (Tim) Clyde of Dayton, Texas, Debra (Curtis) Rivers of Wilmer, Beverly Kolar of Loxley and Tonya (Leroy) Dickson III of Wilmer; two sons, James Henry (Gloria) Jerkins of Saraland and Rod (Ann) Jerkins of Mobile; sister, Fannie Tisdale of Chipley, Fla.; two stepsons, Albert Olen (Elaine) Deakle Jr. of Irvington and Lesley “Tiny” (Kathy) Deakle of Mississippi; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 5, 2015, at 10 a.m., at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale, with the Rev. Aubrey Roland and the Rev. Leroy Dickson officiating.
Burial will be in New Cooper Cemetery in Robertsdale.
A visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, from 6-8 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Jake Temple, Jeffery Smith, Gavin Temple, Brice Temple, Caleb Rivers and Dariel Giles.
