Ann Everingham Russell and Austin Pearson Ainsworth were united in marriage Jan. 2, 2010 at St. Francis at the Point, Point Clear.
The Rev. Thomas F. Barnes of the Loxley Presbyterian Church officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nicholas Russell of Fairhope. She is the granddaughter of the late Cynthia Ford Fitts, Dr. James Henry Thomas, the late Stephen Noble Fitts Sr. and Mrs. Fitts of Tuscaloosa and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Russell of Benton, Miss.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Pearson Ainsworth of Boaz. He is the grandson of Bonnie Gilbert Shannon of Boaz, Mr. and Mrs. James Dewey Shannon Sr. of Birmingham, the late Breeman Neal Ainsworth and the late Helen Walton Harrell.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Caroline DuBuisson Russell, sister of the bride, of Fairhope served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rebekah Elizabeth Fitts and Shannon Ainsworth Johnston of Birmingham, Anne Morgan Henderson of Mobile and Kelly Anne Sherling of Fairhope.
William Pearson Ainsworth, father of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen William James Ainsworth, brother of the bridegroom; Brent Howard Greer, David Quinn Haynes of Guntersville, Philip Hughes Amberson II of Boaz and, William Edward Carpenter of San Antonio, Texas.
Flower girls were Margaret Maria Colson of Flowood, Miss., and Elizabeth Haughton Fitts of Birmingham.
Deanna Kemp Simkins of Madison, Miss., performed the acappella solo. The organist for the wedding was Joshua McCoy.
A reception at the Fairhope Inn followed the ceremony.
After a honeymoon trip to the island of Mustique, the couple reside in Guntersville.
