Russell E. Brown, 84, a native of Foxboro, Mass., and a resident of Robertsdale, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012.
Mr. Brown retired from the U.S. Navy and was a WWII Veteran and had volunteered over 2,600 hours at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cornelia Mattingly Brown.
He is survived by one daughter, Nora Brown; two sons, Kenny Brown and Tim Brown, all of Robertsdale; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday at Mack Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grant Barber officiating. Burial was in Hail Memorial Cemetery, Robertsdale.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice.
