Sadie Louise Williams Jones, 87, born in Uriah, Ala. to Thomas Otis and Bertie Lee Phillips Williams and a resident of the White House Fork community of Bay Minette, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 at her daughter’s residence.

She was a homemaker. She was also member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians and the Order of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Jones; and a brother, Thomas O. Williams.

She is survived by her children, Bobby E. (Gwen) Jones of Montgomery, Sandra L. (Robert) Howard of Tibbie and Randal O. (Sandra) Jones of Stockton; a brother, Mabron E. Williams of Bay Minette; five grandchildren, Michael Martin, Jarrod Jones, Jonathan Jones, Jenna Jones and Sue Ellen Vicol; five great-grandchildren, Dresden Moss, Desmond Vicol, Lochlan Vicol, Ashlynn Jones and Kelsi Jones; and four step-grandchildren, Darryl Howard, Duane Howard, Ryan Howard and Christine (Jason) Wynn.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 11 a.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette, with the Rev. Dr. Larry Patterson and Chaplain Cindy Still officiating.

Burial will follow at White House Fork Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 1, 2014, from 10 until the 11 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Jones, Jarrod Jones, Michael Martin, Ryan Howard, Andrew Lewellen and Alton Chestang.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Williams, Jonah Jones and Derrick Howard.

Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial donations be made to Southside Baptist Church, P.O. Box 418, Bay Minette, AL 36507, Community Hospice of Baldwin County, 311 D’Olive St., Bay Minette, AL 36507, or to Legacy Hospice, 344 Franklin Ave., Gilbertown, AL 36908-5705.
