Samuel L. “Sammy” Wilburn, 56, of Foley, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011 after an extended illness.
He was a native of Winfield, lived and worked in Baldwin County for almost 20 years. He was a U. S. Army veteran and worked in the shrimping industry.
Survivors include two sisters, Rebecca W. (Scott) Riley of Tuscaloosa and Teri Rossin of Gordo; three nieces, other relatives and very special friends in Foley.
A memorial service will be held in Winfield at a later date.
