William G. “Bill” Sanders, 62, a native of West Point, Miss., and a resident of Foley, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008.
He was a graduate of Mississippi State University; was an accountant for many years; and was most recently employed by Peninsula Golf Course, Gulf Shores.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda B. Sanders of Foley, two daughters, Traci Elizabeth (Gary) Michael of Helena and Courtney R. Smith of Auburn; son, William Douglass (Tracy) Sanders of Birmingham; two sisters, Margie Andrews and Judy Clark, both of West Point, Miss.; and one grandchild: Madison Sanders.
A memorial gathering was held Thursday, Oct. 9 at the home of Wanda B. Sanders. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 from the chapel of Calvert Funeral Home, West Point, Miss.
