Sandra Ann Biedekapp, 71, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 in Gulf Shores.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Watertown, N.Y. She enjoyed playing games, cards and cross word puzzles. Crafts were an important part of her life. She was a member of Gulf Shores Plantation Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her father, Glen R. Wheeler; and son, Barry Biedekapp.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Malcolm C. Biedekapp of Dexter, N.Y.; mother, Ruth E. Wheeler of New Concord, Ohio; two sons, Terry (Aimeé) Biedekapp of Dexter, N.Y., and Brent (Kelly) Biedekapp of Brownville, N.Y.; daughter, Jodi (Brian) Allen of Walton, N.Y.; daughter-in-law, Tammy Biedekapp of Oneonta, N.Y.; sister, Sue Dodd of Cambridge, Ohio; brother, Russell (Chris) Wheeler of Plainview, Minn.; grandchildren, Katie and Matt Biedekapp, Jace and Jory Biedekapp, Samantha Geer and Dakota Allen.
The family would like to thank to all the people at Gulf Shores Plantation for all of their support; nurse Gaynor Robinson; and Dr. Janet Hoffman and Covenant Hospice of Daphne.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Christian Service Center in Gulf Shores; Mary’s Shelter in Elberta; or Covenant Hospice of Daphne.
