Norman John Sanftleben, 83, of Gulf Shores, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Sanftleben.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Sanftleben of Gulf Shores; two daughters, Sue Ellen Dolan of Middleton, Wis., and Vickie Stronghart of Minocqua, Wis.; four sons, James Sanftleben of Hollandale, Wis., John Sanftleben of Woodruff, Wis., Peter Sanftleben of Green Bay, Wis., and Paul Sanftleben of Hazelhurst, Wis.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside interment will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.
Arrangements are by Cason Funeral Service, Foley.
