George Emory Sanspree, 80, a native of Repton and a resident of Foley, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at a local hospital.
He was preceded in death by a son, George Emory Sanspree Jr., daughter, Brenda Mae Sanspree, and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Rena of Foley; daughter, Lori (Martin) Mitchell of Foley; three sons, Billy (Irene) Sanspree, Robert Sanspree and Russell (Denise) Sanspree, all of Foley; brother, Rufus Brooks Sanspree of Marlow; sister, Gussie Mae Minchew of Bell Fountain; and 15 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Graveside services and Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley with the Rev. Eddie Wallace officiating.
