Sara Jo Littleton Daniel, died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012 at the age of 79. She had retired from a long career in medicine and medical education.
She served on the faculty of the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She had lived for many years in Montrose before becoming a resident of Robertsdale. In retirement, she was an avid reader and an enthusiastic and accomplished quilter. She is survived by her four children, her granddaughter, her two sisters, her brother and many nieces and nephews.
Following her wishes, there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor her life or celebrate her memory may make a donation to Robertsdale Public Library, 18301 Pennsylvania Ave., Robertsdale, AL 36567.
