Sarah Margaret Johnson, 89, a native of Birmingham and long-time resident of Gulf Shores, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010 in Birmingham.
She was preceded in death by her husband James “Buster” Johnson.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Johnson of Birmingham; son, Randy Johnson of Smithville, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Alexandra Johnson of Fairhope and Delaney Johnson of Smithville; two nieces Cheryl (Bob) Foust of Alabaster and Patsy Nelson of McCalla; two nephews, Mickey Dean and Ray Dean; and many loving friends who knew her fondly as “Ms. Sarah.”
Visitation begins at noon with funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley with the Rev. Robert Foust officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
