Saturday first aid service increases at Hangout Fest

GULF SHORES, AL - After seeing 210 people during the first two days of the Hangout Music Festival, on Saturday alone 279 people were treated by crews on site in the four medical tents.

On Saturday, according to Deputy Fire Chief Keith Martin, seven of those were transported by ambulance to a hospital. During the first two days of the festival eight people required transport to an area hospital.

Friday was the festival's first of daylong concerts at the site and 197 people received first aid and six were transported. On Thursday on, which was a kickoff party at the Boom Boom Tent, only 13 received treatment.
