John Scott Sawyer, a native of Mobile, died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010.
He was an attorney-at-law, a graduate of Mobile Christian School, University of Mobile and Jones Law School.
He was preceded in death by his mother, “Brownie” Sawyer.
Survivors include a son, Matthew Scott Sawyer; his father, Melvin Leroyce (Faye) Sawyer of Fairhope; sister, Paige (Junior) Prine; brother, Todd (Regina) Sawyer; nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and associates.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to his many friends and associates.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26 at Creekwood Church of Christ, Mobile.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Mobile Christian School or Creekwood Church of Christ Meals on Wheels.
