GULF SHORES, Ala. — There’s an added opportunity to see “Sing Hallelujah” at South Baldwin Community Theatre. The show continues this week with performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 and matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

“We added an additional matinee on Saturday because the play has been so well-received,” said Joyce James, SBCT president.

“Sing Hallelujah” focuses on the goings-on at the fictional Shady Creek Baptist Church and its new minister, the Rev. William Higgins. Everyone in the congregation is determined to show the new minister how they want him to act. But, as James said, the minister does the right thing anyway.

Admission to the show is $12 for adults, $7 for students and $5 for preschoolers.

SBCT is at 2022 West Second St., in Gulf Shores, across from the Bodenhamer Recreation Center.
