Scholastic Books has donated one million books to children in need in honor of a fifth grade class at Loxley Elementary School. Mrs. Andrea Grimes’ fifth grade class made good on a commitment to read a total of 230 books earlier in the year. When the class met their goal, Scholastic Books donated one million books to needy children in honor of the Loxley class. The class can visit the internet site of Scholastic books and see exactly where the books end up.
