Robert J. Schreibung, 61, a native of Illinois and a resident of Lillian, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969, and worked for Bellsouth for 32 years in the Pompano Beach, Fla., area.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Schreibung of Lillian; two sons, Christopher Schreibung and Timothy Schreibung, both of North Port, Fla.; sister-in-law, Frieda Johnson of Lillian; sister, Joyce Towner of Elburn, Ill.; five grandchildren, Courtney, Taylor, Harlee, Kyle, and Emilie Schreibung; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Graveside services and burial was held on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Visitation was held Monday, Feb. 18 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley.
