Search warrant leads to two arrests in Foley area

Two people are behind bars after the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force served a search warrant at a residence on George Younce Road in Foley on Jan. 31. During the search of the residence, approximately six grams of methamphetamine ice and marijuana was recovered. Joni Michelle Drain, 27, and William Chambliss, 28, occupied the residence.

Drain was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, 2nd and possession of drug paraphernalia. Chambliss was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and two outstanding warrants for failure to appear.

Both subjects were booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Center; Drain’s bond amount is listed as $21,500, and Chambliss, $20,000.
